Love the hell out of that song! It spoke to me profoundly when it came out. Why the hell would any decent woman want to be with me?... kinda thing. The whole CD is wonderful! Brilliant!
Well, you know I'm just now starting to get into 90s music. 
So its basically new to me, especially in high-fidelity. But I ran across this version on Limewire last night, and I really dig the shit out of it.
... I dont hear the connection to the Hollies' song though.
But I can relate to looking back at my younger days and wondering if I might have shown some women more respect and admiration than perhaps they really deserved. .... so fuckin' special my ass. Sure wish I had it to do over again knowing women as well as I do now..... I certainly would have had a different approach and tolerance level for any bullshit drama or attitude problems on their part.... and I already had a fairly low threshold back then already. Depended on how liberally the poontang was flowin'. I realize now they usually overestimated the value of their ASSets..... the market is flooded. 
Now my oldest daughter is the same age my wife was when I married her, and I just got to shake my head sometimes and wonder how to hell I ever put up with that mentality.
I've replaced the video with a live one, I like even better.
This fuckin song has haunted me for the last 24 hours. I love the raw evil ripping sound he gets out of that Telecaster when he bangs the shit out of it.
Jonny sucks at fuckin up songs. He shreds that telecaster.
