Are you for real? Some of you bloggers are a little over the top.
Only a philosophical naturalist would make a claim like this.
Unfortunately, the "scientific community" has great pull with the media. The problem is that the voices that are speaking the loudest from that "community" are PHILOSOPHICAL NATURALISTS. And, these same leading scientists are calling for the end of faith.
You are your tribe are sounding a bit like an authoritarian anti-theocracy as you fight against ID. Sounds to me like fundamental atheism is being pushed upon our students.
You all need to calm down and look for a way to work with us, not against us. There won't be a "winner" in this debate. Either the fighting will go on forever, or compromises will be made.
