As has been fully explained, the Calvert/Donovan exchange was a private conversation after the forum, and therefore was not taped. Among other things, I would not tape a private conversation and put it on the internet - that should be perfectly obvious.

Readers will notice that neither Donovan nor Calvert have contradicted our report of the events.

I taped the public forum. After the forum, people milled around visiting as is usual. It was during that time that the Calvert/Donovan conversation went on - it was a private conversation in that
it was not an official part of the forum. However it was obviously out in the open among all the other conversations going on, and as people mingeld anyone could drop in on any conversation - that is how RSR heard the conversation
For what it's worth, I didn't even know this conversation happened until I read about it here. I was involved in my own conversations (and my computer was turned off and packed away), some of which took place out in the lobby area.
All of this is extremely obvious, especially to someone like BA who was there, so there is no good reason for Zedek to being making such a rude fuss about it.
I have been trying to contact Donovan about this.
He is not returning my calls.

FYI: As explained someplace (maybe in this set of comments, maybe on another), I was not standing around the conversation in question. There were at least a dozen or so after-forum groups discussing things, and I didn't talk to nor stand close to either Calvert or Donovan. Also, I left while many people were still there.
I wondered why the media forum was even held. Who can reasonably assert that those promoting Intelligent Design as school curriculum have not received adequate news coverage?
Ah, but the ID proponents wanted yet another chance to complain that coverage of ID issues is biased against ID.
