Awbrey's "career" in Kansas was like watching a train wreck in slow motion. I don't know which was worse, his Metaphysical Speculations rant, his subsequent pedaling-backpedaling over whether he was expressing his own opinion, or the supreme irony that all this happened at a panel discussion of Fairness in the Press.
So you are impugning his teachng ability and not just his PR skills?

For impugning teachers without EVIDENCE, you'll have to look to your own track record for examples of that.
Awbrey won't last long as a teacher eithr if he cant control his mouth in the classroom any better than he could as a PR person.

The people in Vermont certainly didn't consider him a liberal, since he did everything he could to speak against public education. 'course, he explained that by saying the people of Vermont were "far, far left."
I submit Awbrey is not even "left-leaning," but a patsy of the RRR, another unqualified hack who was hired by anti-education friends and proved he couldn't stand the heat in the kitchen.
His going to Springfield, MO, where I'm told somehow the teachers just don't manage to get around to that little ole chapter on Evolution, seems apt.
