Truth take the hindmost: the rules apply to thee but not to me. - Behe
Are Dembski and Behe the new radicals? How does the DI compare to Patty Hearst and the SLA?
The SLA was committed to change through urban guerilla warfare.
Behe and Dembski are funded by shadowy right wing fascists who want our schools to turn back the science clocks to the 1st century - laying the groundwork for some nefarious use of the sheeple population created by this indoctrination.
One of the SLA's, outrageous, acts was:
On 6 November 1973 in Oakland, California, two members of the S.L.A. killed superintendent of schools Dr. Marcus Foster and badly wounded his deputy Robert Blackburn as the men left an Oakland school board meeting. The hollow-point bullets used to kill Dr. Foster had been dipped in cyanide.
The S.L.A. condemned Foster's plan to introduce identification cards into Oakland schools as "fascist." Ironically, Foster had originally opposed the use of identification cards in his schools, and his plan was a watered-down version of others' similar proposals. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/
Sym...Liberation_Army
The SLA stood for totally insane violence with schools as a target.
The DI stands for totally insane science (and, book sales) with schools as a target. Is the Radical SLA beyond Behe? I think not! DI=SLA + 30 years with fewer guns but just as radical and the DI is nuttier than a bowl of granola.
Oh well, plagues and swords were 1st century weapons (and, storytelling). I'd stay away from Behe's bank, though. He and Dembski might fill in a boring afternoon with a Hearst-like Heist! It makes as much sense as anything else that they do.

A great opportunity for ID
Just a thought .. .the mining accident in Utah is a tragedy for the families involved for sure and we all wish them to be found alive and healthy. However, the media is now reporting that there is an ‘argument’ developing between the mine owner who insists the mine collapse was caused by an earthquake and scientists who insist that the seismic activity recorded was the result of, and not the cause of, the collapse. Isn’t this precisely the kind of opportunity the ID community would be looking for to prove itself? Ie, we have a case where we have patterns (the seismic activity recorded on instruments) and clearly there is either one of two very separate causes. The scientists themselves say that the two activities have different ‘signatures’. About a year ago (or more) I remember Dembski providing a scenario of a town being infected by a virus and the Government rushing to the ID “theorists” to help them determine whether the virus had a natural cause or a man made cause. Isn’t this kind of scenario in Utah exactly the kind of thing ID should be looking for in order to prove itself a real science? At the very least, shouldn’t ID be able to tell whether these patterns are from one cause or another quite different cause? Got to believe the phones must have been ringing off the hook at the DI the last couple of days on this topic …

Apparently, IDiots strongly believes the old saying that consistency is the hobgoblin of small minds. =)
