This is pretty rich coming from the bunch who claimed "Gomery cleared Martin", even though he was on the Treasury Board and Minister of Finance who approved the cheques heading to the Liberal-friendly ad firms.

I think I'm going to go grocery shopping with my wife. I won't be helpful in the least bit, but I'm feeling the need to get out of the house and putter around a bit. And it is a beautiful, sunny day here! Wish I could go to the beach... All good things in time, I guess.

I must say that I find these demands for apologies quite odd coming from folks who think nothing of falsely alleging that Liberals sympathize with terrorists. I guess that doesn't count as a "smear" in your world. Kind of like falsely alleging someone supports child pornography. Again... not a "smear" in TrustyWorld.

Trusty, you end up sounding weak and silly when you demand apologies from others when there is no personal reason for it (and in this case, not even much of a moral one, as the file is not exactly closed, regardless of what the RCMP does).
You just want this apology as a way of forcing someone into a position of humiliation, which debases the whole concept of apology and is immoral. But I suspecct the concepts of offense and apology are meaningless to you anyway, so there's no point in even paying attention to it.
