Red Tory v.2.0

Gravatar I stopped thinking along the lines that we as Canadians, should worry much about what happens to these people going forward, except to pursue action in the ICC and, possibly, to ferret out any connections the Harpies had to any of this.

My remaining and enduring antipathy with regard to them is that they supported this invasion and were able to drum up support among a cohort of Canadians by providing legitimacy to these lies that ended up politically useful to them.

It could be that it was simply political; but what we know of Republican operative links to the CPC and their supportive think-tanks/advocacy agencies based in Canada, further investigation is warranted as an issue of public interest.

Great time to be an investigative journalist, now that the spigots are being opened and canaries are singing.

In the end, what should happen to these people should be based on the evidence we have. Some should be forgiven, some should be shunned and some should go to jail.

Gravatar Oh, and all the bloggers who supported these lies uncritically should stop blogging/kiss my ass.

Gravatar now if scotty had been as timely with his tell-all as clarke....

Gravatar Interesting. I reed an article in Equire the other month that contends that the legal protection that President has issued over the Torture allegations, now opens people like Rumsfeld to arrest and prosecution should they ever visit a Foreign Country that is a signatory to the Geneva Conventions. An English Barrister has even ventured the opinion that if Rumsfeld ever came to England, he could very likely be arrested and held-over for trial as a War Criminal. We shall see.

Gravatar ATY — I heard that George Monbiot tried without success to serve papers to that effect on John Bolton when he was in England at the Hay Festival the other week...
