If you want to put things into the realm of “universal memes” I think we have the ultimate trump cards in this regard in our desire for the old Canadian verities of POGG — “Peace, Order and Good Government.”

As for your “libelous” tales, just change the names and introduce some oblique elements that obscure the details a wee bit…
