First off, good to see you back Red. I haven't been on the internet too much and was not aware that you were back at it.
Interesting set of videos. With a name like animal farm I guess I should have expected to be a little disappointed that they had very little coverage of GM plants. Too bad, but I hope that a future episode covers it in depth. I am supporter of GM, although as a vegetarian I only really pay attention to GM plants which I think will have profound environmental and health benefits. There are always risks of course, but I have been sorely dissapointed that the left has opposed GM plants instead of pressing governments to ensure that the research has been encouraged towards environmental, health and helping the poor. Nothing annoys me more than the position of my Green Party which is complete opposition even including examples like golden rice which would save lives, improve lives, and as it is free would also help aleviate the crippling poverty in some areas of the world.

WS — Nice to hear from you! They do cover plants in a bit more depth, although the focus is mainly on the animals. One of the later episodes, or parts (there's so many) talks about the cultivation of a GM modified tobacco plant that caries genes that produce an anti-viral compound capable of killing the Human Immunodeficiency Virus on contact. Talk about a win-win.
