Gravatar Frankly I think three is the New Two, if you know what I mean. We sailed right thru two with my oldest, but when three hit, I was like "whoa, what's that about?" And he is now 4 1/2 and doing the exact same thing to his younger sister that Claire is doing. He gets right in her space, pushing and tugging and shoving her around until she hauls off and hits him. And then he can come in and screech about the injustice of it all - "I was just trying to give her a kiiiiiiiissss!" (which is patently untrue). I have to get on her for hitting, but I also have to tell him to get out of her face. V. aggravating, these tiny people.

Good to hear from you, I will keep good thoughts for the bebe and his test results.

Gravatar I agree, two may be terrible, but three can be a tornado. Awesme to watch from a distance, scary up close, relief when its over. They're so sweet when they want to be though (its a survival mechanism I think). Daniel is getting so big! I'm sure the spina bifida issue will be fine, as long as he's moving equally and has sensation he should be ok.

Gravatar I read somewhere that when a child starts saying "NO" all the time, that it's less about what no means and more about them having figured out that they are their own person and can make choices. (for the record, I read that before I had children - and during the NO stage it was still frustrating - so I'm not really sure what my point is, if I have one)

The pics are really cute =) I can see both Claire and Jillian in Daniel. There is a lot of personality behind those eyes.

Gravatar Oh yeah, and I'll be thinking about you guys waiting for the results of the tests. I think I've seen one of those before, but I can't recall where.

Gravatar Okay, fingers crossed for Daniel for sure! Not looking forward to age three (is that the year before or after their second birthday? Eek!) and Jilla sure looks cute in that photo. However, I like the curls on her better which saves Mummy lots of work. Good luck finding some me time!

Gravatar Hang in there!!! And arrange that nice soak in the tub some how! You can do it!

Gravatar Oh oh, Jillian will be wanting the flat iron every day LOL!!!

Adorable photos.

Gravatar Loved all the pictures.
Daniel is adorable with those big bright eyes.
Horray for Claire!!!! Nice to know she could stand up for herself if it becomes necessary. What a bright girl she is and she look lovely at the baseball game in t6hat very special sweater.
Love Jilly's straight hair but I'm still partial to the curls. When she's older she will love them too.
Three beautiful kids!!!!
How ever did you find the time to send this blog?
I know it's hard to find time for yourself with 3 little ones in tow but
you MUST MUST MUST make some Renee time if you are going to survive this wonderful journey.

Gravatar I have everything crossed for Daniel. He looks like a Clair with red hair, except he's very handsome. I'm sure things will turn out just fine. Take some time for yourself, Mom's need down time just for survival.

Gravatar You have the cutest kids! Hang in there, it gets easier. Just find a way to make a few minutes for yourself somehow, because you NEED that. Overstressed/tired/frustrated Mommy is a GROUCHY Mommy! (Ask me how I know, LOL) Praying for little Daniel, too.

Gravatar Hugs your way!

Gravatar Look at all the red heads in your family! Tempers? They are all so adorable. Jillian sounds like such a sweet heart. Being the middle child isn't easy - you aren't the baby, you aren't the oldest. Have a fourth to make things easier on her! (just kidding) My daughter youngest daughter had a dimple on her bum as well. Hope the tests go well for Daniel.
Oh, and do you have a white shotgun at hand? Your oldest is beatiful!

Gravatar fingers crossed that Daniel's sacral dimple is of no concern. My youngest also had one- he's perfectly fine.

The girls are as cute as ever and I for one love Jillian's curls.
