It's too adorable for words! I'm surprised Claire of Jillian haven't expressed the desire for a blanket of their own? Think of one with cats on one side and little diamonds on the other? Such a great projct - can't wait to see it in person !

George Michael. Duh. (It's on my iPod) Tho' I bet that song was not about knitting a monkey blanket.
But it is absolutely adorable!! I'm so impressed with your efficiency. And the Garfield cake in one day! You must have elves.

It's beautiful!! I also fell in love with it right away. I am 1/4 way through my monkeys. I don't think I am going to make mine 2 sided though. Without the incentive of a special baby to gift it to I don't see me making it through the rings and a double border. I just fell in love with it and am making it just because - someday there will be a baby in the family that this blanket is perfect for. We'll have to see how much the "wrong side" offends me when it is done - maybe I will make the other side - I am really enjoying the knitting of this blanket. I am making mine out of Mission Falls.

Oh my gosh, that is too cute! My sister just found out she's expecting her first baby and that blanket is PERFECT for them. Must start knitting now! As slow as I am the kid will get it for a graduation gift, but doggone it, I WILL make that blankie!

That is so CUTE!!!
I love the idea of doing the two sides in the round and steeking. Hmmm. Why didn't I think of that?!
Oh yeah. Not too inventive with knitting patterns. I forgot.

I saw this pattern after I'd already finished two stroller blankets for twins. Wish I'd seen this one first. It is too cute for words. Love. It!

Lady, that is AWESOME. (Also, mad props for pulling out the old George Michael. That's now stuck in my brain for the remainder of today until I can get home and play it. LOL)
Well done, you! I purchased the same pattern when the issue came out, and I don't even LIKE monkeys.
37 weeks?!? Already? Didn't you just get done telling us you were pregnant?
