I have heard that breastmilk helps with baby acne. Old wives' tale? Maybe so. But couldn't hurt!

Let's hope he isn't allergic to wool. My two kids were when they were babies but out grew that too.
He is getting bigger by the day and still very handsome.
Get out and go for a nice walk with that spiffy new baby buggy you've got, and forget about it!

try to not let the baby rub his face on on anything made out of wool, don't use fabric softener and wash his face with camomile tea.
Another important thing is make your little girls wash their hands before touching the baby especially on the face.
If it is something external that is irritating his skin these measures might help .
even with the pimples he is gorgeous !!!
Gah. Baby acne. HATE it! All four of mine got at least one GNARLY case of it when they were tiny...every single time, I SO wanted to do...SOMETHING...about it...don't they make Infant Strength OxyClean yet?!?!
Never mind. It soon shall pass. And he's still beautiful...it's not just skin-deep with this one...

Hi Renee, Our son's baby acne was at least as bad as that, and do you know what the dumb hospital told us to do? Apply vaseline - granted that was 29 years ago, but still! What we did do was really scrub his face, and it cleared up pretty well, within a couple of weeks. There really didn't seem to be any allergin responsible, and I think his pores were just plugged up and needed to be cleaned. Your Daniel is still a beautiful boy. Good luck!

Poor little bubby, although he's still as cute as can be. I'm wondering if you could use Bach's Rescue Remedy on it? The stuff works miracles and I think it'd be gentle enough for baby. Just an idea.
Stopped by your blog via Lena's blog. Saw your gorgeous little one! What a beautiful babe!!! And, I don't know if anyone has told you this, but, the acne is normal. It isn't caused from an allergy or any outside irritant. It is his body ridding itself of the hormones the 2 of you shared when he was your wombie. Some little ones are more sensitive to the changes than others. I had 4 and only one got acne. She is now in her mid 20s and has the most beautiful complexion of them all. Sunlight and a blind eye will make it go away. Just love him. Thanks for sharing him with us.
Acne or not, he is still beautiful! I love my big kids but sometimes I still miss snuggling a little round head against my neck and kissing that soft baby-fuzz...sigh...He's just perfect. Perfect.

Congratulations on your handsome little fella'. A friend of mine went thru the same thing with her baby girl. Believe me, it looks worse to you than it does to everyone else. Thank God that's the only thing you have to worry about, he's totally healthy.
AW poor sweetie, and poor you - it's hard not to obsess about everything when they are tiny like that, I remember well. One of mine ended up with a blackhead that I stared at for months hoping it would go away. Finally, I did the momma gorilla thing and took care of it. Anyway, hope it clears up soon, for your sake =)
