That's a lot of sweaters! With the rate I knit a sweater, I'd be over 120 years old before I was finished my parole.

Yep, I'd rather pay a fine too...I guess the justice system is working in Germany though. I'd definitely think twice about committing a crime with sentences like that!

OMG I saw that; I'm glad someone else gets it too! It takes a lot for me to knit a whole sweater, so I'm thinking this is a pretty extreme punishment.
