I'll make something. And I'll spread the link around. Perhaps colors should be specified - Red is considered evil by these folks. I may not respect the way they treat their kids, but I respect what the kids believe and understand. Their mom dresses are all made of soft pastel colors. Perhaps that would be a good place to start. Great idea and since you have an inside connection, you will know when there is a need or not.
@Julia - thanks for the heads up... I didn't know that about FLDS. But these blankets probably won't be going specifically to the FLDS kids - unless after all's said and done some get placed in the Austin area. I am hoping to have a variety supplied so each kid can choose the blankie s/he wants for themselves, so any and all are welcome!
I have a couple/few "in progress" blankets in crochet that I could finish up over the next several weeks... if mid-May is okay for getting them to you.
