I loathe her...and as a Californian who has suffered under her SENATORSHIP, she has done jack to deserve a single once of respect.
I personally make it a point to never address a politician by their title or as "honorable". The majority of them are far from honorable and until they do something to earn my respect, they will not get it.

I’m not from Sacramento, but I got the phone# and zip code and called anyway. I told the secretary that I was VERY disappointed in the Senator’s disrespect of the General. The secretary went on to tell me that Senator Boxer and the General had a very congenial conversation where they expressed their mutual respect for one another. I said that was fine, however, I still wanted the Senator to know how I felt. The secretary said she would relay the message. I thought, yeah right. I don’t know how many calls her office received, but I hope it was A LOT.
