I'd prefer a protest where every stinking Congress Critter who voted for the cap and tax bill had their personal home boycotted and their electricity cut. It would give them a chance to show 'energy leadership'.
Plus the Great and Powerful Algore's place should be permanently metered so that it can only have 20% of the average American's electricity use in a month.

Both good ideas, CR. Personally, I think President Obama & ALL of Congress can show some "energy leadership" by paying 40% more for their electricity and $.77 more per gallon for gasoline, just like the rest of America will soon have to do, thanks to their myopic actions. The increased costs in all consumer goods will result in what is essentially $1,870 in new taxes for a family of four.
Thanks a pantload, Democrats!

Only problem is WE pay for all those things for them.
But I like the idea of forcing Congress to live with the crappy laws they force on us. After all, how many employers do you know where the EMPLOYEES get better pay and benefits than the EMPLOYERS? It's absurd and only encourages the atmosphere of stupidity and greed in Washington.

You can also support American businesses and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (http://bit.ly/oanAT). They're doing things to reach out and show people that they can get involved, too.
