I feel ya...I've been laid off since November, and finally bit the bullet and started my own business. I am in the graphic design game myself, providing mostly direct mail and promotional items for local politicos, with a smattering of other projects thrown in to weather the slow times.

Chin-up, it will get better...oh, and since the lay-off, I've gained 30 lbs (270 to 300+)...my weight loss regimen begins next week, when things return to normalcy around her (after the primary election)

Keep in touch via email, I'd like to share in the weight loss experience (my son is working along with me...he has 30 lbs to lose). Sometimes people do better when they have each other to lean on.

Congrats on the weight loss! I've been on a diet too (must be the season) but I'm going slow. I've lost 15 lbs, but that's less than a pound a week. Five in one week is amazing!
