it is my understanding, that the gay marriage issue has gotten so huge, mainly because of legal issues with property/money and such when one passes away. The other partner is left with nothing in the way a wife or husband has when this happens. Also.. I think if they are allowed to adopt children, then there should be some law stating there is a union between the two partners in some way so at least the kids could get what they deserve. It is so insane. people worry about the shit that really does not matter, then blow off the big stuff..
The problem stems from religious policy makers forcing their ignorant morals on the population.
I used to think Gay was wrong until I realized god wasn't real and all that crap that's in the bible and said in churches is total BS.

regardless of my personal feelings of whether or not this is a good thing, what bothers me about this is the majority of the people voted to keep marriage between a man and a woman and 4 of 7 judges decided to overturn the people's will.
Where does it stop?
