Thanks for the post.

And within it there were a couple of points that really speak to me, and I'm sure other:

"God is not in the business of saving individuals, no more than a builder is in the business of collecting bricks." This helps illustrate to me that the Lord wants a relationship with us and to be his hands and feet to others.

"We are only managers of what we have." I'm finding this out more and more. It is liberating from any greed or anxiety with worldly possessions whenever we take this point of view.
