Well the Dems only claimed this would be a 'Green' convention, not red, white and blue. From the looks of the trash they came up a little short on the the Green thing.
I don't know what the big deal is.
It's not like being a pregnant teenager, or being a working mother of a down's syndrome baby.
This is a phony scandal, unlike those.

Good question, but upon further examination of the letter from Erick Erickson that accompanies the photos of flags in the actual trash, I saw this:
"After Wednesday night, they threw them in the trash."
The Invesco Field (outdoor) event was Thursday night. These pictures are from the Pepsi Center (indoor).
Looks like the flag is garbage no matter where the Dems are assembled!

UPDATE I: I just spoke with the person at Invesco who found the flags and he thinks both sides are exaggerating a bit. The person claims the majority of the bags with flags in them were near the trash, on a dock, and would have been thrown away. The person thinks it was probably an “oversight” by the Democrats rather than any nefarious plot against the flag. But the person doesn’t believe anyone was coming to get them: “The flags were there for a week and a day and no one came looking for them.”
OK... ok.... I packed them up and was planning on getting them in the back of my truck to take to the abortion clinic to use to line the trash cans when Sara Palin came out of nowhere and started stripping. I got distracted and next thing you know I was taking her behind the building. When I awoke later the flags were gone. I somehow feel like I was setup and used here, but don't seem to care I still scored!!!!
OMG, this is the funniest thing I have ever seen! I just had to let you know...I was lurking another site that had a link here and I cannot stop laughing...I'm just wondering if the omniscient Barack Apollo Obama knows about this place and since he has a grand sense of humor (especially when McCain makes comments like "$5 million" in response to whose rich) he allows it to exist out of the unending benevolence of his heart...:::blinks dreamily::: instead of sending his media minions to confiscate all postings.
