Thanks for that comprehensive coverage. If the death toll does remain at no more than a couple of thousand - bad enough - that will be a sign of the effectiveness of early warning systems (as mentioned on BBC and Channel 4 this evening). However there's going to be a lot of distress in the aftermath of all that destruction.
