Hey Rezwan, thanks for the comment and sending on the link.
While I agree with you that Microcredit is hyped up a LOT, i'd like to point out that Prosper is a little different from Kiva in that only US Residents are eligible to loan and be loaned to, from what I can tell.
Kiva, using an established partner NGO network, directs these loans directly to poor people in developing countries. That's why

That's why I found Kiva so fascinating. It's pretty rewarding to know that your loan is directly helping out somebody in need.
