I don't see why the tape shouldn't be shown. PR for the enemy? That's just stupid. Showing the danger our troops are in. That's news. It's time to see the whole story. Not just the part the politicians want us to see. And DON'T tell me it's not happening!
The American public has been lied to: before the war and up to today. Bush and company never tell the truth. They knew there were never wmd's: they did it for oil and to help their friends: the sheiks of Saudi Arabia. If America saw the truth: dead, lacerated, and charred babies and mothers; innocent Iraq citizens; support for the war would disappear. Now, we are beginning to see the truth: dead US soldiers. These are middle class Americans, not senator's sons. I think it is due time for Bush to come clean on this fiasco.
PS: They don’t hate us for our freedom, that’s absurd. They hate us because we are committing genocide in the middle east. Period.
Arrest the traitors at CNN. Period.
Any person who supports any war should be required to view the death, destruction, and horror their will (vote) inflicts. They should be forced to talk to the families of the dead to feel the pain they feel: the dismal loss. They should comprehend how hot metal minces warm flesh and organs and ruins lives; how it sprays blood that was once in a warm human. They should see what concrete does to a body when it falls on a person after a “smart” bomb destroys everything within a 700 foot radius. They should smell the death. America needs to wake up and comprehend reality. I think it is due time for Bush to come clean on this fiasco and apologize to us for being so incompetent. He will go down in history as the most ill advised, worse president ever to hold the office. He delivered America another View Nam. God dam him.
America needs to see the crime of war: the suffering and the dead, the lacerated, and charred corpses of babies and mothers; innocent Iraq citizens. Very low, conservative estimates put the innocent dead Iraq civilians at 145,000 and up to a high 650,000. That’s genocide people. Over 2,700 American soldiers are now dead. 20,000 plus US soldiers are mutilated: their lives ruined. These US soldiers are middle class Americans, not senator's sons. These are our neighbors not the neighbors of the rich upper class.
Most wars the US fought had noble intentions. In this illegal Iraq invasion, our troops died not to protect our country, not to fight terrorism, but for oil and billions of profits to Bush and company. If you think terrorism had anything to do with the Iraq invasion, your deluded and unread: do some research. Learn about propaganda. Learn about critical thinking. Learn to shut the TV off and read the foreign press: the US press not the most reliable.

They tell stories to make Americans feel unsafe to further their cause and distract from their real intentions.
Now, we are beginning to see what it looks like: our boys severely suffering, dying and way too many dead. So, if CNN reports reality why is that bad. You are ill informed if you think it is furthers the cause of anything other then reality.

Every day, they see 30 to 300 bloody corpses being carried away: thanks to the US. We destabilized the area, we are the cause of the woes. All too often, they see mass graves uncovered where 50 plus new victims of Bush are uncovered. These innocent civilians die of horrible torture. They hate us because we are killing them in massive numbers, Period.

Rick, thanks for the reply. I think I would rather vote the bums out of office in November and may be restore some of the checks and balances our great gov't needs. If that doesn't work, and the bums remain, I'll switch to decaf 
I don't see how showing these insurgents for the underhanded sneaky SOBs they are makes the US look bad. Why is any news from Iraq considered a black eye for the US? War is all hell. Maybe we would be better off if TV was a little more "reality" and a little less "reality tv" - maybe then people would appreciate what our troops are going through, and have their own gut check about whether or not we have gone about this right.
