Truly awful news...it just doesn't seem possible that this could happen, with the Monorail's longtime track record.

BTW, that sad Disneyland accident took place shortly after the attraction had converted into "America Sings," as I recall...

My sympathy to the family and friends of the employee who died in this tragic accident.

You're right - it was "America Sings" when the accident happened, not long after it had opened.
