He sounds like one of these wishy-washys who want us to abandon bold, vibrant Reagan conservatism for the pale pastels of mediocrity. We do that and we lose.


What is needed are people who will come to government filled with ideas, spend a few years debating those ideas with other, distill the best into law guiding our constitutional republic into the future, and then return to private endeavor. Given the enormous incentives, financial and personal ego (power), it is essential that term limits be pressed by the unwashed masses so that government is continuously infused by new ideas to be debated against old and the country moved forward...as opposed to simply changed.


Robert is right on! No more than 2 terms for any office! No keeping the salary after they leave. No keeping the benefits after they leave.

How many of us still collect the salary of our last job? Or the benefits?


Seems to me its like going to fast and stepping on the breaks only to find there aren't any!
