To be honest I really don't like M.Moore, but trying to connect him to what's been going down in merry old England is ludicrous. Anyone with half a brain knows that the Rushdie knighting plays a big part in the attacks of late. Moore is only trying to point out the problems with American health care. No answers just bringing it out into public debate. Have we Americans become so polarized, that an issue which concerns us all, most be dragged through the mud, and turned into hypothetical partisan bashing. CNN has fact checked Sicko, and it has agreed with the numbers. It's high time we start talking about about issues that matter to the avg. Joe on the street. Shooting the messenger accomplishes nothing.
Wow this is funny. Have you even been to the UK? Have you experienced the NHS? No?
Yet you can still somehow suggest that because some terrorist was a doctor, it means our healthcare system encourages or creates terrorists? That doesn't even make a shred of sense. Two completely unrelated things and you manage to put it together with false logic. It's not ironic either. Look up irony. That is not it.
I take it that the Hippocratic Oath has some clause allowing doctors to ignore those in need with no money. I wish my doctors were that passionate about helping people.
I think this is relevant, supposedly educated people wanting to kill others in the name of their religion. Like there christian counter parts (James Dobson, The Graham family, Bill Donahue, Jerry Fallwell etc.) they wish to force others to live as they dictate. The best way to counter these destructive people is to fully educate people of the actual birth and evolution of these superstitions and thereby, hopefully, purging such ignorance from the world as a whole.
James - I didn't say the NHS creates terrorists - they just have to import them to meet the demand for doctors in a socialized medical environment that punishes achievement.
