Gee, why do images of Jesus with a whip come to mind when I hear a church selling seats for anything? Hmmm......

Hmmmm, charging for seats on the church property for a non-religious service might just interest the IRS regarding the non-profit status of the church, sounds like shakey ground.

I don't see any problem charging for seats to a special event. Churches do it all the time for concerts and musicals and such. I doubt there would be any concern on the part of the IRS (or Jesus for that matter) because they're using this event to raise funds for new cameras.

If only one candidate was present there might be some issues, but it seems they've gone out of their way to be non-partisan.

Put the candidates together. Expose them to the public. The big O would not show.

Yeah, Kent, you're probably right.

If anyone has the access code to get tickets, please email it to me.

Will 1 hour be enough time for Mr. McGoo to stumble through his flip-flops, go off message, misname/get everything wrong under the sun (people/cultures, countries, etc.), AND call his wife a trollop and a c*nt like he did in front of reporters?

Aaah... what the heck... I'll give McSame - I'm sorry - McBush the benefit of the doubt and maybe he'll even treat us to his 6th naval plane crash or even setting his 2nd U.S. aircraft carrier on fire!

Go Mr. 894th Naval Academy graduate out of 899! (Don't forget to thank your accomplished daddy for that one there, McCoat-Tail)...

No seriously, I meant it... GOOOO McCain! (very far away hopefully)

War hero = Yes.
President of the United States = No.

"...listening to 2 hours of focus-grouped responses on compassion issues is a sure cure for insomnia."

Sure "cure" for insomnia? So you're saying it will be exciting and wake people up, right?

Of course, if you meant the opposite in that it will be boring or induce sleep rather than keep people awake, you would surely have used a word like "recipe" for insomnia or something akin to that.

Go ahead, look up "akin" in the dictionary too, I'll wait... NO, NO, NO ... you're in front of a computer for "the BIG Obamessiah's" sake, you can look it up online and don't need to go find a book!

Gotta love the low-intelligence/information McCainiacs (there's no "brain"iac association to that either, just the "maniac" part will do).

You might want to look up the word "insomnia". It means "inability to sleep", and a cure for that would put you to sleep. I was right the first time, and the only "low intelligence" I'm reading is your comment.

Please, if you're gonna post a comment here, don't be such a dope.

Nobody is gonna "trounce" anybody because this forum won't give them the opportunity. All it will do is allow candidates to give canned answers. Boring.

If there's any risk to one candidate or another it's to Obama. Off teleprompter he stumbles and stammers and is a walking gaffe machine. He better have his answers well rehearsed.

And his name is "Obamessia". One word.

Ron - save your money, watch it on TV.

Hey look! McInsane's already getting us into another war... YEAH! (and he says Obama's acting "presumptuous... pfff):

Georgian president to McCain: Move 'from words to deeds' - “Yesterday, I (Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili) heard Sen. McCain say, ‘We are all Georgians now,’” Saakashvili said on CNN’s American Morning. “Well, very nice, you know, very cheering for us to hear that, but OK, it’s time to pass from this. From words to deeds.”

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn...words-to-deeds/

Sooo... his "friend" the president of Georgia (who McMemory can't ever pronounce his name correctly anyway), basically just called the "once-upon-a-time-he-was-a-Maverick-but-since- 2006-he's-just-been-a-GWB-lockstep-lacky" out on his tough talk.

What are you gonna do now, PRESUMPTUOUS SENATOR McFoot-In-Mouth?!!!

"'insomnia'. It means "inability to sleep", and a cure for that would put you to sleep."

- I stand corrected (read through the post(s) too quickly and didn't quite catch the reverse-de-whoop-dee-do you did there). =)

Apology accepted.

Just passing through...

"During the conference call, Rev. Caldwell also hits John McCain on his adultery during his first marraige:

His marital history has been duly recorded," said Caldwell, referring to McCain, "and as recently as yesterday I think it is, OUR PASTOR FROM SADDLEBACK, RICK WARREN indicated that he would not feel comfortable voting for an adulterer..." (emphasis mine)

I sure am looking forward to tomorrow! =)

Friends, this is Grant from the Matthew 25 Network.

Tomorrow will mark a turning point of the faith and politics dialogue in America as Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. John McCain come together to discuss faith at Saddleback Church. The Republican Party has nominated a man who has failed to ignite the GOP’s traditional Christian voting bloc. While, the Democrats have nominated Sen. Barack Obama who is unabashed in speaking about faith, and who is igniting the imaginations of Christians nation-wide."

I'm not sure that quoting DailyKos posts is going to convince anyone that Obama is any better than McCain on the religion issue. Most of the people that populate DailyKos are nuts.

I figured you'd say that, so I want to make sure to point out that I'M QUOTING REV. CALDWELL (Jenna G.W.Bush's daughters' presiding wedding reverend) ON RICK WARREN'S STANCE AGAINST MCCAIN AND THE ENTIRE M25 NETWORKS' BACKING OF OBAMA and repudation of ADULTERER JOHN MCCAIN.

Come on Rick Moore, you're smarter than that. Take the horseblinds off.
