Long overdue but an excellent start.

I'm not Catholic but a Pentecostal Protestant and I like what I'm reading. If we had many more men of the cloth, Protestant & Catholic alike, publicly rebuke these corrupt public officials for their support of abortion and same sex marriage and refuse them communion and entry into the houses of God, these lawmakers would soon be forced to either clean up their acts or leave office. 50 million aborted children the last 35 years and the proliferation of the homosexual agenda over the last 20 years or so lie at the doorsteps of the church for its indifference and incorrect thinking that churches should stay out of politics.

If this mindset starts changing as exemplified by the public comments of Bishops Egan, Wuerl and Chaput, this nation may yet be saved from God's judgment. It's time to turn up the heat on more public numbskulls like Pelosi, Obama and Biden and turn this into a tidal wave.

Paul said to Timothy in the New Testament "Them that sin rebuke before all that others may fear." Let's pray that more men (and women) of God be bold enough to deliver rebukes such as been done by Bishops Egan and company.

As long as he expressed the same concern for those Catholics in Congress that support the death penalty, that's fine.
