Great redaction of Lewis's argument. And while the "truth" of the fact/value distinction seems patently obvious, a nagging sense of circularity or begging the question might be leveled against Lewis's argument. How is "favoring" not "valuing" or "valuing" not "favoring?" They seem virtually synonymous (even though I intuit the implication).
