Hey Ridor...FYI, I lived in Des Moines for 2 years..Not a bad place to visit. On the whole, Iowa is okay...Not a ton of that Southern hospitality we are used to, but a pretty good place to visit.
I've been reading the junk you right on the amazing race boards and find it surprising that a man who writes such a wonderful blog continuously sinks to lower and lower lows on an amazing race message board...
You go on and on about "hearies", and spouting off about how hearing people don't understand the plight of deaf person - and you never acknowledge that it is impossible to understand if you have not experienced it. Give us lowly "hearies" a break and stop bashing people for making an attempt to understand where Luke and Margie are coming from.
Do you call the heteros of the world straighties?? and consistently belittle them for not understanding what it means to be gay?
Grow the heck up and realize that there are two sides to stories and walking around telling people why their opinions are wrong makes you look like just as much of two year old as temper tantrum Luke.
Actually, us homos call straight people "breeder". Sound better than straighties.
