how about the story "war profiteers" that was just on 60 Minutes? you republicans sure know how to manage the taxpayers money!

and now theres a story about 400,000 frozen embryos that have no home. what to do, what to do? let them be used for research? not if Robert George has his way. he's some ethicist that says it'd be better to freeze these petri dish cells until they become useless or give em a dignified burial! he's serious! wow. thats one sick pup. he doesnt even think the couples who own them should be able to volunteer them for research! thats control.
The whole frozen embryo thing is wrong anyway. The stories of women's eggs being used to implant in other women without permission. Imagine! having a child out there and not even knowing.
Don't get me started on the whole thing. I can see special instances where this might be good and necessary (cancer patients for instance) but the whole thing is abused just like everything else about sexuality and reprodcution for our own selfishness and desires. Morals be damned. It's all about what we WANT. Ugh.

Regarding the Olympics, I have never been into them. Not into sports at all unless my kids are playing.

No, Kennedy and others come up because of the extremity of their "misdeeds". I find it hypocritical when the left goes after the right, particularly when the left's misdeeds have been just as bad or worse.

I don't know why that number is so ridiculous. There are about 5 million couples on the waiting list for adopting babies in this country at any given time.
