Chavaz is so horrible! I read an article on him in National Geographic this month and he is truly looney.

Its true. Jo got flown over to cover the Social Forum. I know a few people who are pinning their socialist hopes on Chavez. I'd like to. I'm worried about human beings and power structures in general though.
I don't expect centralised personality power to work whatever the name of the system.
I'd rather have Chavez than Bush or Blair, but thats probably not suprising.
I can see why the bolivarian revolution appeals to peole in South America. I'd like to go there and find out for myself. I'm going to try and get to the states first though.

You can see that politically if Chavez seems a bit "mad dog" its going to keept the price he can charge the US for oil high can't you?

I'm not going to argue Chavez. I've never been to venezuela. I've asked my Bolivarian friends to come and argue Chavez with republicans many times. they say

Like I say, I hope all is well with the Bolivarian revolution. I support the cooperative industrial model over the exploitative/corporate one.

Cuba could be the next Cayman Islands. It's beautiful and so many cubans want to return. Socialism failed. I'll be happy when capitalism can bring it to glory.
I'd be happy if cpitalism brought anything to glory. 1 in 5 or the population on 1 dollar a day. Eight of the biggest companies own the same wealth as the rest of the world put together etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc
