I don't have kids, but if I find out somebody's giving my wife a hard time there's likely to be some repercussions.
I just have to remember not to let my wife know that I found out. She always talks me out of it. Hates the idea of a life on the run from the law or some baloney.

Sorry to get a little off-topic, the USS Ronald Reagan finally returned from deployment, check out my blog, Kathy, I put up some pictures that they emailed to me when they were all down in San Diego to see the ship pull in. (my little sister is the one in the naval uniform, my dad is the goofy dude in the navy hat, my mom is wearing the wide-brimmed hat, and my older sister, who is married, is carrying the chair in the last picture)
On-topic, while I didn't see it real-time, I did happen to catch the aftermath and I have to say, I'm not surprised. The internet CAN give one a feeling of "anonyminity", even if its a false feeling. I have no idea why, but some feel it even makes them invincible, that anything they do here will never have repurcusions out "in real life", despite recent evidence to the contrary. Just kinda makes you think there should be an "internet" license just to use the damned thing.
Jill - To be fair, ther have been some liberal bloggers who denounced this without reservations, specifically Jeralynn from talkleft, and Maryscott from myleftwing. They had no "but's" in their opinions. However, many of their commentors were not so charitable.
Well I don't think Jeralynn really counts since she is personally good friends with Jeff.
Since she's equivocating, the "contrition" is/was obviously fake. I don't believe she really belives she did anything particularly wrong.

Who is blocking you comments? You seem to have a thing about bloggers being responsible for everything on another blog that one links. This isn't a news organization, it's a blog. If things on other links bother you, then don't go to them. Every blogger, right or left links to things they don't necessarily agree with. Get off your high horse why don't cha?
