My heart goes out to all the civilian victims of terrorism, living over here in the Middle East 90 miles away from Iraq, Iran and with my oldest selected to attend West Point next year, - getting to meet dozens of troops over the years - you get a real sense of the hope America has brought to the people of Iraq who just a few years ago viewed America as the spawn of Satan.
The troops didn't fight a war, they spread the fires of freedom, freedom to worship as they want, freedom to govern themselves and elect their leadership.
The real friction in Iran is the example being set by the blue fingered Iraqis whose government has been battered and bloody but STILL STANDS and is taking the battle to the enemy.
Never have so few done so much unnoticed, unappreciated. unbowed, and unbroken.

You're a good person, I should have said that it was my daughter. It was ten steps ofheck to get everything done, physicals at sandbagged army bases, folloups with Iranian doctors, getting around the numerous holidays and work shut downs to get time senstitve materials to Austin and DC.
What I got to see was thousands of the best American kids out there serving and trying to serve America

Thanks to Al-Jazeera and Michael Savage for his website so I could witness that the free world witnessed, because the liberal USA media took away our first amendment rights in not showing the beheadings by Al-Qaeda.
