Further, to see of all people, Fitz, try this case in the court of public opinion shows what a despictable, dishonest prosecutor he is. He makes Nifong look good. Again, my congratulations to Fitz for covering up crimes committed by Plame, Armitage and Andrea Mitchell.

I think its shameful that Burris accepted the nomination in the first place. I think its cowardly that the Ill state senate was afraid to pass a law holding a special election because they were afraid a Republican might be elected. They think Burris will be elected after Blago goes down? And I wish more than ever that Daschle was still the senate majority leader (maybe he was only ever the senate minority leader) because he was about 100x better at gettintg things done. I agree the Pelosi doesn't represent the best of Democrats.
Yes Harry Reid is an idiot. Sparkle, I see plenty of writing on this one in the Washingtonpost so perhaps its just the media on Television. Sigh.

What did Burris do wrong? He was appointed by a governor to replace Obama. Period.
Ever heard of the concept "innocent until proven guitly"? Apparently Fitz hasn't.
Fitz may have his own problems with regards to OBlago-gate. Right now the only crime that is known for sure to have been committed came out of his office.
Now that Blago has been impeached, he will likely call Obama as a witness to his Senate trial.
I still cannot believe Blago did not parachute himself into the Senate seat being the democrats have such a solid record of acknowledging and pulling out the chair for such astute criminal actions.
He would have just been following his sworn obligation to uphold the laws of Illinois.
The Senate would have seated him with the PR campaign of “innocent until proven guilty” being the selling point, I guarantee you. In a way, I cannot believe the democrats did not tell Blago to come on aboard, nominate yourself brother, so they could have an all white Senate being the racists they are.
I agree with you, top Gun, on everything you wrote, except for this. Commissar Obama doesn't need a parachute. He will use those wings he was endowed with after the MSM anointed him The Messiah.
