What an exciting thing, to meet Sen. McCain. Although he has been forced upon me, I can relate to this as many a moon ago, as a College Republican, I met then Vice-President George H. W. Bush. It was very exciting. After his speech, Mr. Bush came right over to our CR area and shook all of our hands and said what great people we were. This was in 1984. Ah, but on that Monday, Jesse Jackson came to our campus and spoke. And, good CRs, we went and booed and shouted at him. The lefties went nuts! So, I know how exciting it is to meet someone that you know is going to be president.

Sorry to spoil the mood but perhaps he was wincing because he's considering Huckabee for VP? I hope that report is just a trial balloon that will go down faster than lead but it's not a good thing to hear at this stage of the game.

Sparkle: Your going to have to work real hard to get me to Vote for McCain in the General. He visited my home state of Oregon today and Praised the Socialist Marxist Governor and was trying to convince people like me about Global Warming. Oh Please.
I'm writing in Mitt Romney for our Primary. McCain needs to talk to people like me (the base) and he hasn't. I was 100% on board with President Bush at this time in 2000.
McCain was a thorn back then in the Republican Party and that part of McCain is resurfacing again. The Republican Party made a mistake in picking Sen. McCain or was it open primaries ,Caucuses, and same day registration, that picked him. Oregon has closed Primaries. Our only fault is
VOTE BY (FRAUD) MAIL.
I know, I know. We should support John McCain, because of that "R" next to his name.
But, it's a small "r".
