Good morning! Looks like the eye should be right over you now. It's a Category 1 with 90MPH winds now. I checked that other site, but no mention of you. Hope you got a little sleep at least. Aren't the hubby and a couple of the kids there too? You never mentioned.

I just did. Whoa! They just showed on FNC. It looks like someone took a hammer (a rather large one) and smashed just about every window that was facing the parking garage on the other side of the street. A security guard said that almost everything inside that building was flying out and over onto that parking garage.
I know Galveston has borne the brunt of it all - but I wouldn't have wished to be anywhere near that tower

I think Simon can back me up on this, but anyone who was around before RWS took her break from blogging knows that she won't be wasting her time on here when there are more important things she could be doing for others in her area right now. There's a lot of Sarah Palin in her, or a lot of RWS in Sarah Palin, I'm not sure which but it's a safe bet you won't hear much from her until she's done all she can to help out in her community. Take a break, relax and let RWS do what she does best!

Yeah, Sparkle's out there operating a chainsaw cutting away all those fallen tree limbs! I heard that she was an extra on the History Channel series, "Ax Men."
I just saw this on FNC, but since our beloved hostess hasn't posted since late Friday night, they showed a graphic from the local energy company showing most of the Houston metro area without power. The fact that she lost power shouldn't be a big surprise to anyone.
