Well, Wright was more reasonable than his introducer was and overall, in comparison to his usual rhetoric (a low bar to be sure), I didn't find him all that far out there tonight for the most part.
That said, he did Obama no good, but being that Obama will be the nominee, that ain't a bad thing for our side.

True. As much as I would like the American people to really look at how Obama votes and what he believes, it was really always going to be about how we "felt" about the candidate and Obama made people feel good.
It's not fair that this may be what brings him down, but there it is.

Dan Yeary is the pastor and he seems to have moderate mainstream beliefs.
Maybe that's why they are "hiding" him.
Dave: The 'equivilance defence' is pretty easy to see thru. McCain has a church and a pastor, niether of which are particularly noteworthy. What the left has been trying to do is bring up the names and controversies of people who are NOT - repeat, not - McCain's pastor and trying to claim that they are.
One of my favorites is bringing up Pat Robertson. Well, so what? Pat Robertson is not McCain's pastor.
