The buzz is that Edwards will bring "white, working-class voters" to the Obama camp. A demographic Obama has not being doing well with (unlike Monica Lewinski's ex-boyfriend's wife). I'm not buying into that fantasy. Edwards is a creature of the hard far left extremist liberal end of the democrat party, just like Barak Hussein Obama. Getting the same nutroots worked up into a frenzy isn't going to add to the number of votes Obama is going to need in the general election.
No way. Vice presidents are chosen to bring some balance to a ticket and Edwards has the same drawbacks as Obama, he's young, a little inexperienced. Look for Obama to choose someone like Bill Richardson or Joe Biden.

Edwards couldn't even carry his own state in the 2004 election. This doesn't mean he is not in serious consideration for a VP slot again. The Obama camp, his supporters, and Edwards and his supporters, view the world through a far left extremist lens. To them, the Silky Pony is in touch with white working class swing voters in fly over states.
Why not Pretty Boy Edwards for VP? It would continue the streak of great judgement from Sen. Barack. You know, where to go to church. Being a "community organizer", cozying up to terrorists and their allies. And, Kevin is right. A two-time loser. Maybe a trifecta for Pretty Boy!
I think there is no reason why poverty must persist as it does in our country... and why even veterans are treated as such.
