As a Southpark Republican, I liked Huck already. Fair Tax! Also, you know Brian, he is another Southpark Republican and he likes Huck too. As far as his religion goes, I don't care. Pray all you want, I am interested in policy.
That having been said, Romney's speech was impressive. I am liking him more.
Still not voting for Obama, Dave Bones, even if its historically inevitable that the proletariat will triumph. 
Huckabee clearly doesn't listen to Micheal Medved.
Today, Medved said that his initial support of Huckabee resulted in his rise in the polls.

Thompson all the way. Romney strikes me as a bit too "slick" - more of a politician than I care for, and I just don't trust McCain to be a conservative. I know you like him, but he's last on my list of Republican nominees (obviously that doesn't include Ron Paul, who isn't so much a contender as he is a nutjob).
Don't immediately jump the conclusion that libertarians really like Guiliani. He comes to the same end result as them on a number of issues, but he isn't a libertarian. He's a moderate, big difference.
Thompson is also, coincidentally, the biggest libertarian candidate besides Ron Paul (i.e. federalist, push social issues to the states). He just isn't nuts on foreign policy.
Christian evangelicals are the base of the modern Republican Party.
And John Ryan is a mental midget.
Sparkle - Huck's religion had nothing to do with me not favoring him, he is still better than all of the Dems, and whatever Paul is. Being religious does not make him conservative, and his record shows that conservatism for Huck is a concept given lip service to around election time. Ditto McCain. And Rudy. And Romney.
As long as the candidate is not worshipping Satan, or at the altar of Liberalism, I frankly could not give a flying John Ryan what religion they choose to practice. I certainly am not prepared to stand in judgement of another based on their very personal choice of religion, that often time is nothing more that an ongoing process from the parents. There are plenty of good reasons to question Romney. Religion is not one of them.

These are not 'your' issues, they can and do affect everyone. 'Red States'....what a divisive term, like sincde I identify myself as as Democrat I am not welcome here or have any place in America that didn't margianlly vote for one political party
