Monica was 23 years old in 1996
Bill was 40 years old at that time he is 17 years older than Monica
Chelsea was 16 years old 7 yeasr younger than Monica Clinton left office with the highest approval rating of ANY US President post WW II The approval rating that the American people gave to him was 65%. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bil...ki/
Bill_Clinton
Some people hated him(and some still do !) but MOST Americans liked him.
McCain was 20 years older when he had his extra marital affair. Shouln't he also be judged on this if Clinton is ?

Thanks for the info there John. He was old enough to be her father. If that doesn't bother you, maybe using a subordinate in the workplace? No? Being President of the U.S. and an affair with an intern doesn't strike you as at least classless? I guess nothing is a sin or wrong in John Ryan land.
If you can't see the difference between that and a man who spent 5 yrs tortured at POW camp and he and his wife couldn't find thier way back to each other, then I can't help you.
As usual you are wrong. He never had an affair with his now wife while married to his former wife. He has been with Cindy for 27 yrs and never cheated on her.
Can Clinton say the same even now? Of course not.
Really John, this is getting tedious. I can't waste time correcting you all the time. From now on if you write something in error I just won't publish it.

dave,
Are you forgetting Bosnia? 250,000 dead. So there was death and the classless act of a sex addict as President. What a combo! And even Clinton himself said that as awful as Iraq is, fewer people died there than if our military wasn't there.

One thing that rea;;y grinds on Republicans is the deep-down-in-their-guts knowledge that if he could run again, even with all their hateful diatribes and rhetoric, Bill Clinton would still be elected over any Republican they could mount against him.

Gee Gary, I don't think I would use the phrase "they could mount" with Clinton.
It just made me laugh.
He's a charmer alright. A real snake oil salesman. But real leaders don't take daily polls to make decisions.

And you know what? That isn't even the worst thing Clinton did. He tried to paint her as a lying tramp until the blue dress showed up.
I mean, it doesn't get any scummier than that. How can these people support someone who is such a personal scumbag????

"He tried to paint her as a lying tramp until the blue dress showed up"
You know, I think the worst thing he did was lower the bar. I mean on everything. I remember a news clip of him responding to a question on his frequent use of Executive Privilege. He said he wasn't schooled in the technicall, so they'd have to ask his lawyer. He taught friggin' constitutional law for cyin' out loud!
He lowered the bar for what we will tolerate in terms of political gamesmanship, personal gain, talking out of both sides of your mouth (how often would he say something on a presser, only to be corrected and clarified by the WH after the fact), FBI files (another smear job that worked, and may yet pay dividends) etc.
And this country gave him vindication for his actions. Yeah, I know, not everyone, but many. Even those who understand him to be the guy he is.
Lowered the bar. That's the worst thing he did. On everything.
I apologize for the ramble.

Yes, Clinton was so popular when he left office that Al Gore REFUSED to let him campaign with him.
LOL. You guys should slow it down with the kool-aid.
Clinton couldn't win dog catcher. But keep dreaming.

I feel quite confident that Bush I will in fact agree to serve his country again at the request of WHOMEVER is elected.

I feel quite confident that John Ryan hastrack record of lying and just general wrongheadedness.
He is probably right about President Bush, who is a great American, and would certainly work to further American interests on behalf of any President. Unlike his colleagues on the other side of the aisle. So, idiotboy probably got one thing right, but that was only by accident.
