Whoooo hoooo!
PUMAs! PUMAs!
I think McCain can pull this off if ACORN doesn't win it for Obama.
P.S. I didn't watch either.

A four point lead among actual voters? I think that beats the three point lead the same poll gives him against likely voters. In fact, a one point lead in actual voters generally beats a 100% lead in likely voters.
So I'll wait for the actual election on November 4th.
P.S. Due to high turnout, Governor Crist has ordered the polls to remain open for Democrats only through November 5th -- with Obama votes counting TRIPLE on that day as a reward for helping relieve congestion by waiting.

The most beautiful thing that could come out of this election would be for the mainstream media to be seen with their jaws open in total shock as one state comes in for McCain, one after another on election night. Then they would have lost their integrity and journalistic ethics (if they had any...oh wait, they didn't) all for NOTHING!! NEVER to be trusted again.
And perhaps they would NOT try this again. Oh please God, let that happen. I would sell my soul to see Keith Olbermann crying on election night.

That either of you would be praying over an election is disturbing at best. But Jill 'oh please god make this happen' followed by an offer to sell your soul.....if this be christianity I'm glad I'm not. If it's hyperbole......isn't there some admonition to not use god's name in vain? Is there a disconnect here, or are you just a hypocrite of the whited sepulchre variety?
No need to resposnd, Jill, your words and attitude of distrust and open disgust with other people have already exposed the reality.

William,
Don't worry. 1.2 million voters is only about 20% of those who normally vote -- a very small statistical sample. Remember: Obama's got unlimited cash, a great ground game, and a 50 to 30 advantage in party registration. And he's tried his hardest to get his voters out early. That's why he's only losing to McCain in the early voting by 4%. I'm sure Obama's cheerful commercial about America's suffering will inspire the remaining 80% to break the trend.

Those early voting numbers are very different from what they look like in NC and GA. For what it's worth I was on 270towin.com a couple weeks ago and I was NOT counting Florida for Obama in my prediction. Florida has only gone D a couple times in the last few decades despite how close it was in 2000 and despite Obama polling extremely close or slightly ahead. It would be a great catch, and it will be close, but we'll see. Republicans have an excellent ground game there that they don't have in many other states this cycle. Obama doesn't need Florida, and the upper third of the state is basically like Alabama, so, yeah, tricky. We definitely want it, but it's a luxury if we can get it.
William, don't take Jill seriously. She'll say something outlandish, then when you say something in return, RWS will say that you're the crazy one. It's a no-win situation.

Yes, William seems irritable. Perhaps the Obama infomercial embarrassed him a bit.
Don't worry William, Obama & his convicted felon friend George Soros (who even Saturday Night Live said owned the democrat party) will probably BUY a win for you guys.
But just remember, they had to BUY it. Never forget that.

Not stewing at all, just warming to the realization I have you figured out Jill, and finally came out with it. You are the embodiment of my characterization of you... a whited sepulchre. You might look up the definition rather than follow any link I might provide you.
As for your second comment,'buying an election', grow up Jill. that is the way the game is played in America. If you believe any differently you are naive in the extreme.More money =more exposure, more name recognition, more money. more exposure and on and on and on. Look at the reality of almost any number of elections , both local and national.
I find it interesting you are so ready to jump on the French bandwagon in this case when , I suspect like so many other rightwingers, you were probably making disparaging comments about them 6 years ago and since then.

Perhaps the Obama infomercial embarrassed him a bit.
It'll probably embarrass all the struggling families featured on the infomercial even more. Right now, state officials are doing computer scans of their confidential records, reporters are digging through their garbage, and the New York Times is emailing their children to see what kind of "parents" they really are. Because all that matters in this campaign -- all that has EVER mattered -- is fairness and truth. In fact, even if Obama had featured the travails of his destitute aunt in Boston (hmmm, why didn't he), I'm confident that the media would vet her as thoroughly as they have him. Maybe even twice as much.

What's the weather like in the right-wing dream world you all are living in?
Here in the real world it's a little overcast and early voters are favoring Obama by a sizable margin.
McCain can win every swing state (right now it's OH, IN, MO, NC, and FL) and he would still lose to Obama on election day according to every major electoral map.

"Here in the real world it's a little overcast and early voters are favoring Obama by a sizable margin."
Yeah Mario, but here is the problem with that. I heard this morning that the majority of the people who are doing early voting are not the poor, minorities, college kids, but the people who would have gone out on Election day to vote anyhow. The Democrats are going to have a hard time winning if all these new registered voters don't bother to go to out and vote.

William, why on earth would you find it disturbing that people might pray about an election? I know how I'm going to vote, but I still pray that God's will be done and have faith that he will continue to guide our nation no matter who wins.

As for the celebratory comments by the Obamites who are already sewing their gowns for the inaugural balls... I've stopped listening to them ... and maybe with good reason... We'll just have to wait and see what happens on Tuesday, and if we need to form a "Loyal Opposition" blogger's alliance - then we will.
