I am puzzled by the way you keep returning to the theme of marital fidelity when mentioning the Clintons. It may be true that Bill cheated on Hillary but apparently she forgave him and they moved on to restore their marriage. On the other hand, McCain left the woman who raised his three children while he was a prisoner for a wealthy and beautiful 25 year old.
You think she forgave him?

McCain did not leave his wife for Cindy. They were divorced before that. Why do you keep making that up? To make yourself feel better?
The circumstances are so entirely different that there is simply no comparison.
You are in greater denial about the circumstances of McCain's divorce than McCain is.
McCain has always taken responsibility for his role in the divorce. He married Cindy less than one month after divorcing his first wife. He's always been straight about that and I respect that.
You are right. I misspoke, they weren't divorced yet, but had been seperated many times, before he met Cindy. They were seperated when he met Cindy.
In other words, both John McCain and his first wife say that Cindy was not the reason for the divorce. His 1st wife have had nothing but good things to say about him. That means alot.
I won't belabor the point, but if you can't see the difference in a man who comes home after 5 yrs as a POW and his marriage not working and he straying (he did have affairs) and the President of the U.S. being serviced in the oval office, then I can't help you.
I don't know why this stuff even factors in. Bill, John, and heck even Rush and Newt and Rudy and many others have had well-publicized setbacks when it comes to marriage, serial divorce, and cheating.
I realize it goes to their personal character, but can't we look past it to see what they intend to do as commander in chief? My reasons for disliking W have nothing to do with his drug use or alcoholism, and the same with the others I mentioned and what I think about them.
