In the good old days, all silverware (cutlery to some people) in this country was "Made in Sheffield". It said so on the items. Some enterprising chap in Hong Kong called his factory "Sheffield" and made silverware at a fraction of the cost. It sold well over here, until people discovered that if you washed the stuff in Cola, it would disintegrate.
