The rather mundane world of Rikaitch

*notes that TRT did not feature in the answers to last week's quiz...

1. Septillion?
2. Ikosikaitrigon (although, thought naming shapes came from the Greek?)
3. Base 32 - near Area 51
4. United we stand...divided we fall.
5. Quadricicycle. And more commonly 'quad', as in Kevvo broke his ankle out quad racing in the bush.

Pseudonymph: Aha, you fell into my trap. Now go back and re-read the questions... :-p

1. A billion is not a million squared anymore. We've all gone over to the American system.
A billion = 10 to the 9 now.
But a septillion would be correct for the question using 'British' notation.

2. Almost round
3. duotrigesimal but commonly called base-32 when used in computing
4. bisected
5. A car.

Gravatar Are we allowed to torture anybody in this lot of questions? Rik perhaps? Failing that I agree with TRT.

Gravatar I'm not rereading anything, Richard. I don't even have the power to throw out soft toys, apparently.

Gravatar Debster - bring your arrows. I've got a hammer around here some place...

Gravatar A million^7 = the US national debt once Obama is done with us...

Don't know 23 sided object, but know that a 20-sided die is a dodecahedron. But I think that's Greek based, not Latin...

Gravatar All I need now is a small horse ...

Gravatar Looked at all that and concluded that the answer to last wekks question was even more complicated than the question itself.

Psydonymph: Don't call him Richard, not if you value your life!

Gravatar Debster - I got your back. Can lend you two medium sized dogs if you need.
Bertie - up half the night with the Monkey ear infection. Not only do I not value my life, I don't even realise I have one at the moment...

Gravatar Pseudonymph: monkey ear infection???

Gravatar An ear infection in my child who is nicknamed The Monkey. I have (in ascending order) The Monkey, Beastie, and Boyman (although I'm considering changing his name to Labrat, as he's the one I trial my parenting skills on)

Gravatar If not Richard, then Dick?

Gravatar Debster: Are you asking for a slap?

Gravatar If you reckon you are hard enough, yeah.

Gravatar Debster: *gneep*

Gravatar Rik, back off - Debster allegedly recently took the ball off her aerobics teacher. Now you and I both know we nevah evah did that....

Gravatar Allegedly? Definitely ...
