I am so tired of the right wing evangelicals being the face of homeschoolers...it's such a tired old stereotype. I'm with you--I could care less how my candidate comes down on homeschooling as long as he or she doesn't do anything to prohibit me from doing so.
And Edwards? He's my man. I wish he was more popular, but who knows how things will shake out.

"Of all the issues facing Americans, and North Americans, a candidate's thoughts on home schooling are at the very bottom of my long list."
You nailed it. My thoughts exactly.
I have no idea who I'm going to vote for yet. It's a tough decision.

I'm old (as dirt). In an odd nostalgic moment I found myself missing the days when the pandering was at least a little creative, if not subtle.
Is it too much to expect a little imagination when they're lying to us? The things I've been hearing...well, they don't even sound like they're *trying*. What? We're not good enough for thoughtful pandering?
So insulting-and I have to vote for one of these bozos?

Mrs. G., I'm partial to Edwards, too. Of course, it's a long way to next November, and who knows what could happen.
Frankie, if you get any ideas, let me know.
JS, ah for the days of smoke-filled rooms, a handshake, or a twisted arm. I'm just glad I don't live in Iowa or New Hampshire and have to shoo marauding politicians off my front porch.
