Your comments hit it on the head Richard. In no way am I trying to sound "elitist" - but imagine if , as a feel good gesture- Homeland Security decided that for a week they would have children or ameteurs run the nation's airports and border security.Art is every bit as serious a business- even though it has been watered down and spoon fed to the masses here in the USA. It is a terrible and patronizing assault on both professionals and standards. Eventually, it must end and people will wake up. I hope so.
The book is really interesting. Will really shape some new thinking for me as far as museums and public participation goes...
