Once again proving that the northeast is a million miles ahead of DC in terms of transit. If the DC area had Boston's ambition, we'd be rebuilding the WO&D line. Instead we're haggling over a failures of ambitions like the Silver line.
What's so frustrating is that DC had a great network of rails at the mid-century just like Boston or New York, but unlike our northern breathern, we trashed it.
