There is no reason to waste $13 Million on a Pedestrian Master Plan when the DDOT Director doesn't care about pedestrian safety.
Use the money for Belgian blocks or waffles. It doesn't matter.
i don't think that's a fair characterization, although I do think it's fair to say that DDOT considers all the aspects of its mission -- public space, road management, infrastructure, etc. -- to be of equal import. They don't have the same kind of sense of priorities that I would have.
