It is incredibly ugly ...or maybe build a real Church around it and save it like was done with that interesting ancient artifact in Mecca- is it called the Quabbah? Someone w/ better historical input please help with the name.

We tolerate way too much red tape and "process" here in the USA.

As a result- we are left with mediocrity and third rate everything.

How about focusing legal protections on *good* buildings rather than *old* ones?

Nonsense like this is why I don't characterize myself as a preservationist. Anybody fighting to save this church has lost their way.
